industrial hydraulic systems, safety, and troubleshooting. This course builds the foundational skills
needed to read schematics, operate system components, and diagnose hydraulic faults in a
maintenance environment.

  • Constructing and troubleshooting hydraulic circuits
  • Reading and generating hydraulic schematics
  • Identifying and operating directional, flow, and pressure control valves
  • Adjusting system relief valve pressure
  • Using gauges and a DMM to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
  • Performing safe pressure release procedures
  • Working with actuators: cylinders and motors
  • Performing oil sampling and fluid contamination checks
