What Happens When You Sign Up For An Industrial Maintenance Training Program With MST

MST Industrial Maintenance Training Programs

Real Training. Real Results.

When you partner with MST, you’re not only investing in an industry-leading training provider, but empowering your team with a proven, customized industrial maintenance training program designed to improve safety, reduce downtime, and fill critical skills gaps. Here’s what to expect when you begin your journey with MST.

Step 1: Request a Quote

Your process begins with a simple step: request a quote through our online form. This gives us the baseline information we need to recommend the right industrial maintenance training program for your goals.

Step 2: We Reach Out to You

Once your request is submitted, a member of our team reaches out via email to schedule a call with our MST Sales Team.

This discovery call helps us explore your facility’s needs, staffing levels, and current maintenance challenges.

Step 3: You Receive a Customized Proposal

After your call, we’ll send a proposal tailored to your specific environment, challenges, and maintenance goals, along with a detailed timeline for your training process.
This proposal includes scope, a concise explanation of our maintenance training services, and how it will be implemented at your facility, along with pricing.

Step 4: Timeline Is Confirmed & Training Begins

Once you approve the proposal, your schedule is locked in. Then the real work begins.

We work closely with your team to coordinate training logistics with minimal disruption to your operations, so we can provide a seamless training experience from start to finish.

Step 5: Job Task Analysis

After training begins, our team conducts a Job Task Analysis (JTA) at your facility. This step identifies what tasks your technicians are doing on the job, management expectations, and all relevant processes and equipment.

The JTA ensures your training program is not generic, but built around your specific equipment, processes, and safety requirements. Within days, you will receive a detailed JTA report, clearly identifying the tasks and skill areas that are most critical to your operation, along with a custom skills assessment for review, and a recommended training curriculum.

Step 6: Skills Assessments

Next, we use practical skills assessments to benchmark your team’s current capabilities against industry expectations. This process pinpoints real-world skills gaps and informs where your team can improve, optimize, and streamline operations.

These assessments are targeted to the critical tasks identified in the Job Task Analysis, and are designed to be valid, reliable, and practical to both schedule and execute

Step 7: Review of Results

You receive a clear breakdown of what was found during the skill level assessments, including what skills your team already has, and where improvements are needed.

This data helps us (and you) prioritize training areas that will drive the most impact and reduce costly errors or downtime.

Step 8: Onsite Maintenance Skills Training

Finally, your team begins MST’s performance-based, onsite maintenance skills training, designed specifically for your equipment, systems, and goals.

Our subject matter experts work hand-in-hand with your team in real-time scenarios, ensuring skills are retained, applied, and measurable across your workforce. Our team of industry experts is passionate about equipping your team with the skills they need to succeed!

Why MST’s Industrial Training Programs Work

Our performance-based methodology equips your team with the exact skills they need to succeed on your equipment, in your facility, under your standards.
